一号冰川是世界上离城市最近的冰川，这点也只有在新疆才能存在，站在新疆，基本都可以看得白雪皑皑的天山，山上白雪覆盖，毫无疑问，一号冰川就是其中的代表

虽然住在新疆，但是每年都想去几次天池，去感受那里的天然氧吧，和大自然来个亲密接触。那山、那水、那景象很迷人。去了不会后悔

没有旅游观光车可以到，需要自驾车或自己包车，（注意：车上带司机只能坐4个人，景区规定）道路比较危险，需要注意行车安全。夏天去比较好，烈日下冰川晶莹，非常壮观。

8月份吐鲁番40多度，冰川一号下大雪，有河流、树林、草地 蒙古包 很好的避暑去处 还有维吾尔族的小巴郎在路边卖雪莲、红景天什么的 讲讲价挺便宜的 而且质量特好

山的体魄是雄伟的，那只能用心灵体会的壮观，是任何语言无法描述的。人生就该有此魄力吧。简单但壮丽，屹立在天地间，不失自我。

If you drive this one yourself, be prepared for a very scary stretch of road from Urumqi. It becomes narrow, winding, rutted and ... infested by huge trucks. Top speed is 20km's an hour for the last 30 km's.The glacier is off the main road about 4 km's by the access road. We didn't figure out who you pay to drive on this, and lots of people were hiking across the marshy meadow so we followed them and it was about 2 kms. By the time we got to the glacier edge it was getting dark, so we didn't explore much. Next time ...To avoid returning on the scary road, we decided to head south and then back north on a road that looked good on Google Maps. Big mistake. Just as scary to the south and the loop back road was closed. Became a 600 km detour. That explained the huge trucks on the tiny, winding rutted road.
