I'm a Canadian who comes in Hsinchu every 3 months or so and Barfly is definitely the place to go for a good evening time. The staff is incredibly nice and cheerful, and the place has darts, foosball and gets packed with Taiwanese and foreigners. Greatest place to meet new people and have an incredible time! Thanks Choco!

The best place around to have a beer and play some games.They've got a soccer-table, dart boards and lots of small games.It's an easy mix of expats and locals, not as crowded as Red bar but good fun.Nice personnel of which most speak decent English and some very well. Lots of foreign beer brands and liquor, but also Taiwan Beer.

Barfly is a fairly popular spot among foreigners and locals. It's comfy, clean, and has a friendly sort of atmosphere. I've never seen it too crowded. The staff are friendly and helpful and have a fair grasp of English.
