隐藏在居民区内，游客不多。建筑有一种沧桑的美感。和那些金碧辉煌的寺庙不同，这里有一种简单质朴的历史感。寺庙几经损毁，现在修复实属不易，向木工师傅们致敬。庙门外的菩萨尊者的石雕很有情趣。

严格说来，台北和鹿港龙山寺虽均名为「寺」，但并非是纯粹佛教寺院，也揉合了民间道教信仰，有中国化的神祇和造像。鹿港龙山寺采佛教寺屋瓦设计不饰琉璃，雕刻精致，造像悠美，庙埕空间开阔气派高雅，和天后宫应是鹿港最值细细品味的二所庙宇。

鹿港龙山寺被誉为台湾最具艺术性的高层木造建筑。那精致的雕刻实在漂亮。而且安静的境内还有巨木。

Lu Gang is one of the oldest town in Taiwan. The Long Shan Si temple is also very famous in Taiwan. The building has been over 300 years old. The Long Shan Si temple has 99 gates, which should be not more than the gates at the Forbidden City in Beijing. There are some interesting stories behind the Long Shan Si temple. Come and visit it.
