Never seen a place that has so many bamboo around. It make a picture perfect place for photos.Air was very fresh and some fantastic view of tea plantation/mountain around the area. The walk was gradual and suitable for all ages, no steps. It can be covered within 30-40 mins with slow stroll.Wild flowers on the way and a hibernating giant butterfly was spotted when we visited the place.

This location is above Ruili village. There are only few signs to get there, and they are all in Mandarin. The locals recommend this hike because it is one of the few trails with low to moderate gradient that is easier for tourists to complete in a matter of 1-2 hours. The air is fresh and there is a roadpath to walk the entire stretch. This hike will take you through a path of bamboo trees and other vegetation, leading to very nice views of the mountain areas in the distance. It is rather quiet, so not suggested for solo walks. But two or three in a group will be just nice.Recommended to check out the map at the Ruili village before embarking on the hike. One can get lost if not careful as there are a few road junctions along the way. Suggest to ask the locals during the hike for directions.
