We live near this park and enjoy walking over there in the evenings or weekends. It is pretty with willow trees and bridges but there is no grass area to sit or play on. People exercise in groups, skate, scooter, play ping pong, play their instruments, dance, sing and practice tai chi. There is a children's play area with a sandbox and play equipment on the Heping Da Jie side of the park. There is also a play area you may enter for a fee. In the outdoor section they have small paddle boats for children, trampolines, some animals to look at, and play ground. Indoors there are two climb and play areas with ball pits.

I came to this park early on a weekday morning (5:30 - 6:30am). It was only a 10 minute walk from the Traders Hotel. There were lots of people walking, running, doing Tai Chi, etc, but the park was still relatively empty. I didn't see any other westerners, but that wasn't any cause for concern. The park was clean and the pathways were in good condition. The gardens I saw were lovely and well-manicured. For an early-morning stroll, the park offered a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. I would have loved to spend more time here.
