从奉节顺江而下，饱揽长江三峡的无限美景之后，出西陵峡口，在结束三峡之旅之前，可以在宜昌短暂停留，游览一下宜昌三游洞风景区。从宜昌市区坐中巴车或者到9码头坐10路公交车可以直达三游洞。相传宋嘉祐年间，著名文学家苏洵与儿子苏轼、苏辙，从故乡眉州赴汴京受任途经到夷陵（宜昌古称），三苏同游并在山洞中各赋诗一首写在洞壁上，后人因此将此地称作了三游洞。三游洞风景区位于宜昌西北的西陵山上，处于三峡的东段出口，整个景区依山而建，由于历史上很多文人侠士曾经游历于此，景区内的陆游泉、张飞擂鼓台、楚塞楼、三游洞等无不处处留下历史的印痕，让人浮想联翩。不过，可别以为三游洞景区里最主要的那个洞有多大多深，其实它和庐山仙人洞一样，很小巧，只是仙人洞名气更大些。

很棒的中国文化历史,没有什么小商小贩和其他人。花上几个小时探索这个古老的地方,远不值洞穴这么简单。

A great range of traditional chinese food in a cafeteria-like setting. We were treated to some very fine local delicasies in a room off the main eating area.

My family made the visit as my legs would not carry me up and down the many steps involved and most of these do not have an hand rail. I watched them from the bridge opposite and could see most of this beautiful place other than the inside of the caves.
