马山观测站是距离对岸最近之处，气候好时用肉眼就可眺望对岸，曾经是冷战时代的喊话站，在一面墙上有48个大喇叭对准大陆发声。不过现在播放的都是邓丽君的柔美歌声，用柔情喊话了....

这里退潮后，，游泳都过得去…跟小金门湖井头战史馆一样都有望远镜可以观看到对岸，可惜这里没有开放心战喊话的马山播音室，只有看没有"听"的战地体验。

For those who have seen pagodas in China/Taiwan, this one is a bit of a laugh as it's nothing special to look at. However, the views are great and there is almost no one there (at least in January), so it's a nice to place to seek peace and quiet.

Look into the binoculars and you will see Mainland China from here!! Be impressed with the spying abilities they had!!

Mashan observatory has tunnel to the underground observatory of the soldiers during the wartime. It is a good experience to actually go inside the tunnel to the observation area where you can view the China territory at the other side to the sea. If you are travelling alone, the entrance is hidden and you will not know that there is a tunnel to the observation post. I suggest to go inside but you might wait for someone else to go with you because inside the tunnel is creepy. Unless you are brave enough to go through. Its a good experience and see the tunnel design how it was constructed for survival during the war.

大陸からわずか2km。観測所のトーチカから肉眼でアモイが見えます。冷戦時代はここに巨大なマイクを設置して、大陸に向けて宣伝放送（テレサテンの歌なども）を流していたそうです。入口付近には現役の陸軍基地があり、基地や兵士は撮影禁止ですので注意して下さい。

金門島の東北端に突き出た岬のところにあります。入口から長いトンネルを抜けていくと奥に大陸を見張ることができる小さな部屋があります。それだけといえばそれだけですが、金門の戦争遺跡としては大きな方であると思います。ただ、ここに行くためにはかなりの距離があるので（所詮小さな島ではあるのですが、それでも空港からレンタカーで３０分はかかります）、このためだけに来ると、特に関心のない方には多少たいくつかもしれません。私は楽しめました。

豪雨の為、洞窟内の展示物は閉鎖されてました。奥には、地下道で大陸を見れるトーチカがあり、見れます。軍人の人も結構見かけました。

金城バスターミナルから出たバスを、沙美バスターミナルで乗り継いでようやく到着しました。観光バスが数台停まっています。ここに来る人のほとんどは、観光バスで来ています。入口に通じる通路には、「還我山河」というスローガンが大きく掲示されています。入口から坑道を少し進むとトーチカがあり、そこから中国大陸の島々が望めます。本当に近い距離です。多分台湾人と思いますが、交互に望遠鏡を覗いていますが、どんな気持ちで覗いているのでしょうか？
