花上一个下午的时间，可以在这里好好的欣赏老房子、散散步。若是能在这里的老房子古厝民宿住上一晚，是来金门游玩不错的一个选择。古蹟酉堂、蔡开盛宅都是非常具有代表性的古蹟建筑，蔡开盛宅更是已经对外开放为民宿，还取了一个很乡土亲切的名字，水头一家亲古厝民宿。值得注意的是，为了维护古蹟，这两个地方是不对一般人开放的，只有住房的游客可以一窥百年前的建筑细节。

金门里面有很多聚落，皆保留很多美丽的建筑，也改建为民宿，非常适合旅途中的住宿点。水头聚落最有们的就是他的洋楼建筑，其中以粉色的得月楼最著名。还有一间金水学校也是可以好好参观一番，这里是很多侨生返乡学习的地方，里面也很详细的金门人向海外移民的血泪史纪录。

金门是个小地方，很有特色的不多，这里维持的很好，可以来走走。村头很小，还是要做功课才知道历史由来，还蛮有趣的。

Very nice, traditional houses, even compared to the other villages on the island. Some are abandoned and decaying, but I think that adds to the charm. Check out the decorations on the roofs, as well as on the roofs of other traditional homes and temples on the rest of Jinmen Island.

When visiting heritage-rich Kinmen, there is nowhere better to stay than a historical resident house. These traditional southern Fujianese 闽南 buildings often came with a rich history and heartening stories as Kinmen was the site of fierce fighting between Communist and Nationalist forces when the latter withdrew from the mainland in 1949. I stayed at Chong Lou Minsu 銃樓民宿 located in the Shuitou village cluster. Chong Lou Minsu was also the movie setting for a Taiwanese idol drama Summer Fever 戀夏38℃

石畳のメーンストリート(といっても車が通らない旧道)の両側に独特な金門様式の家が並んでいます。といっても、３０mくらい。とてもこじんまりとしています。片端に門があり、上に登ると牧歌的な風景が楽しめます。もう片端にはお寺があって、Wind Lionが町を守ってます。高粱酒工場が近くにあるので、そこのついでにいく、というところでしょうか。

水頭地域にはいくつかの民宿が有ります。その中の「水頭一家親」と言う宿はリノベーションされた宿となっておりお勧めです。

ここの集落に今回泊まった民宿があり、近くに楼・廟がありました。くねくねしている道で、また同じ家が多いので迷いそうになりましたが、タイムスリップした雰囲気の集落でした。
